Research Interests
In the past I have explored the structural biology of carbohydrates particularly the time dependant conformational reorientations they undergo using a combination of ab initio theoretical calculations and experimentally measured 13C based NMR spin-spin coupling constants. More recently my work with students has been related to various aspects of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medicine, particularly 3D anatomical imaging and modeling, and understanding a number of aspects of the current outbreak of Brown Tail Moth here in Central Maine.
