Looking for an opportunity to act in a play this spring? The Colby College Department of Theater and Dance will be presenting a special One-Night-Only performance of In the Garden of Live Flowers, winner of the Kennedy Center David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award and co-written by Colby professor Lynne Conner, on Friday, April 8, 2016.

Auditions are open to the whole Colby community (students, staff and faculty):

This original play about the writing of Silent Spring, environmentalist Rachel Carson’s world-changing call-to-arms about the dangers of DDT, will be presented in Strider Theater on Friday, April 8, 2016 as part of the Community, Culture, and Conservation: Sustaining Landscapes and Livelihoods Conference (sponsored by the Center for the Arts and Humanities).
