Bess Welden’s “Not Always Happy” Performs in Portland

Bess Welden has collaborated with Kari Wagner-Peck over the last two and a half years to create Not Always Happy, a collection of 13 hilarious and heart-breaking true-life tales about finding, raising, and loving the mighty Thorin, who lives with Down Syndrome.

The premiere, a full production, runs November 8-12 at 7:00 PM in Portland Stage’s Studio Series.
