Exciting Summer Internships for T & D Majors

Theater & Dance major Emilie Jensen (’15) will be working at Dance Place in Washington, D.C. over the summer. She will be the Assistant Director of the Energizers Dance Camp, a seven-week intensive dance camp for children ages 7-14 in the D.C. area. 

Theater & Dance major Brendan Leonard (’16) has been awarded one of the theater industry’s most exciting summer internships at the New York Public Theater. Brendan is one of ten interns selected from a pool of over 400 applicants to assist the technical and creative teams for the Shakespeare in the Park program in Central Park’s Delacorte Theater.

Alexis Atkinson (’15) has landed a summer internship at VH1 Music in New York. She’ll join a professional production team (writers, producers, art designers, production managers, etc.) working on the live content and events for VH1 Classic. In addition, Alexis will help on film shoots and content editing.
