Kurtz ’14 Selected to Give Keynote

Top of the CLAS! Theater and Dance Major Maddie Kurtz Selected to Give Keynote Address at the Colby Liberal Arts Symposium!

Maddie Kurtz, ’14, was selected to give the keynote address for the Humanities Division (representing ten departments and one program area) as part of  “Top of the CLAS”, the concluding event of the Colby Liberal Arts Symposium on May 1, 2014. Maddie focused her remarks on the research process creating and choreographing this year’s Performance Lab Series production, Truah. Along with three other keynote speakers (from the Social Science, Interdisciplinary Studies and Natural Science divisions), Maddie’s address celebrated student research from across the college.
