Theater and Dance Students and Faculty Featured at Special Museum Exhibit by Torkwase Dyson
On November 7, Theater and Dance major Bethany Okezie ’20, student dancer Sarah Vaughan ’20, and Professor Annie Kloppenberg danced as part of (AO), a special performance-based art exhibit featuring visiting Guest Artist Torkwase Dyson. The event, held at the lobby of Colby Museum of Art, consisted of a series of short performances including dance, poetry, and open conversation with guests, and explored the ways in which forms of visual art, literature, and science respond to distance and distortion.
The event was hosted by the Lunder Institute for American Art. Thank you, Lunder Institute! And congratulations to all involved!
