Bess Welden Launches New Projects

In the fall of 2015, Theater and Dance Teaching Artist Bess Welden, will launch two new creative projects. Her one-act play, Madeleines, will premiere as part of Portland Stage Company’s Studio Series running November 18-22. She also received a grant from the Maine Arts Commission to develop her latest solo performance project, Legbala is a River, over the course of the 2015-16 season as part of the new Dramatic Repertory Company Residency beginning with a reading on November 9.
