Sheets Receives Spencer Foundation Grant

Erin Sheets, assistant professor of psychology, received a Spencer Foundation grant to continue her research on social belonging. The grant is titled “Evaluating a Brief Group Intervention to Improve Social Belonging, Mental Health, and Academic Performance in Disadvantaged College Students,” and Sheets was awarded approximately $50,000 for a three-year period. Her work on this grant officially begins in September.
