On an annual basis, Colby requires all students to certify proof of health insurance coverage. This Colby Student Health Insurance plan premium will be billed to students by default if the health insurance enroll/waive online process is not completed by the prescribed deadline(s) explained below.

For students who are going to be enrolled in a college-billed program for the fall semester, the mandatory health insurance enroll/waive online process must be completed annually by August 1st, or the student’s account will be billed automatically the non-refundable $1,960 premium fee for full-year coverage (2020-2021).

For students who will be enrolled in a college-billed program for the spring semester only, the annual health insurance enroll/waive online process must be completed by January 1st, or the student’s account will be billed automatically the non-refundable $1,139 premium fee for spring coverage only (spring 2021).

To enroll in or waive the school insurance go to the Wellfleet student website:  https://www.studentinsurance.com/Client/1481.  Students electing to waive Colby’s insurance coverage must provide proof of comparable coverage to the plan offered by Colby through Cross Insurance.
