Established in 2011, the Colby College Libraries’ Digital Production Center (DPC) supports the libraries’ mission to preserve and provide wider access to the unique output of the College.

The facility is equipped for the following types of projects:

  • 2D image and document scanning, including oversize and transparencies

  • Rapid book scanning, utilizing the BookDrive Pro from Atiz

  • Analog-to-digital audio conversion

  • Digital media management solutions for faculty and departments

Primary contact: Larry Brown, digital production coordinator

Please note that the DPC is a project-based space and is not staffed for public access. Contact us to discuss potential projects.

For self-serve scanning and multimedia resources, visit the computer cluster on the main floor of Miller Library (scanners), the Instructional Media Center in Lovejoy, or the media lab in Bixler Art and Music Library.
