Retiree Medical
The Colby College Retiree Health Plan applies to all retirees, whether or not they have reached 65 years of age. Colby contributes a portion of the premium for retiree and dependent coverage if the retiree’s official starting date of employment at Colby, per the records of Human Resources, was prior to September 1, 2002.
Effective January 1, 2024 – Kennebec Regional Health Alliance (KRHA) will become Tier 1 providers within Colby’s plan. Tier 1 providers offer better quality of care with cost efficiency. You can use mycigna.com or Cigna’s smart phone app to search for providers, print a temporary medical card, and to view EOB’s.
