Jesse Begin

Jesse Begin, MPS is an executive human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience driving organizational performance, workforce strategy, and HR operations across higher education and mission-critical environments. He currently serves in a senior leadership role at Colby College, where he oversees multi-functional HR operations including employee relations, compliance, benefits, environmental health and safety, and workforce planning.

Jesse is known for building scalable HR systems that strengthen organizational effectiveness while enhancing the employee experience. He partners closely with executive leadership to navigate complex workforce challenges, mitigate institutional risk, and align people strategies with long-term strategic goals. His work emphasizes operational clarity, accountability, and transparency, ensuring both high performance and a supportive work environment.

Prior to his work in higher education, Jesse served more than two decades in the United States Air Force, where he held progressively senior roles in training, organizational development, and human resources leadership. This experience shaped his disciplined, mission-driven approach to leadership and his ability to lead through complexity and change.

Jesse holds a Master of Professional Studies in Organization Development and Change from Penn State University and is actively engaged in professional organizations including WorldatWork, SHRM, and CUPA-HR.
