• Wordpress: maintains/updates Wordpress CMS software, integrates Wordpress software with other Colby systems via web services
• Commonspot/Coldfusion: maintains/updates Commonspot and Coldfusion software; integrates Coldfusion with database systems

 

Web Server Environment

• Apache: installs/updates/configures Apache on Linux servers
• Modules: installs and updates necessary modules for Colby's web environment, including PHP, mod_perl, Kerberos authentication, and Apache performance modules

 

Databases

• MySQL: DBA for MySQL, responsible for backups and server configurations
• PostgreSQL: DBA for PostgreSQL, responsible for backups and server configurations

 

Miscellaneous

• Authentication: manages Colby's web authentication environment including SSO for a variety of services (Moodle, Commonspot, Wordpress, JICS, etc)
• Google Apps Integration: uses various Google APIs to interface Colby systems with Google Apps including the Provisioning API, Calendar, and Groups API
• Load Balancing: manages the Radware load balancing environment at Colby (used for colby.edu and Colby's DNS service)
