Nicholas R. Silcox writes, teaches, and thinks about issues related to media studies, particularly digital media and technology and environmental media, environmental humanities, science and technology studies, literary and media theory, and speculative art. He is interested in thinking about these issues across global contexts and, in particular, the ways environmental concerns around media, technology, and science arise in the Global South. He is currently working on a book titled The Intelligent Ocean.
