At UNH, she identified knockout genes of protein phosphatases in Arabidopsis thaliana. Prior to working at Colby she performed genetic research at the Jackson Laboratory with Dr. Wes Beamer, and for the biotech/drug discovery company Agenus, where she was a Research Associate for the Process and Development group in the Protein Chemistry Department. She previously taught at Tufts and UNH, and did science outreach for Cambridge Elementary. Most recently she completed a MS in Bioinformatics at UMO. At Colby she teaches laboratories in the chemistry and biochemistry curriculum. Outside of Colby she supports the Cooperative Extension as a 4-H State Animal Science Committee member.
