Vicky graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry from Tufts University in 1999 and received a M.S. in genetics from the University of New Hampshire in 2001. At UNH, she identified knockout genes of protein phosphatases in Arabidopsis thaliana. Prior to working at Colby she worked at the Jackson Laboratory with Dr. Wes Beamer and for the biotech company Agenus where she was a Research Associate for the process and development group in the protein chemistry department. At Colby she teaches laboratories for introductory chemistry labs and biochemistry laboratories.
