Seminar on Philosophy and Gender
The Seminar on Philosophy and Gender meets once a week to highlight the work of women and gender minorities in philosophy: to read their philosophizing, talk through their challenges, and celebrate their successes! We will also highlight the work of women and gender minorities who are people of color. Our aims are to build solidarity, generate good philosophical discussion, fight white feminism’s history of racism, and also to be engaging and fun. All are welcome!
In fall 2022, we will meet Mondays from 7:00-8:15 in Lovejoy 102. Students can take the reading group as a two-credit class, but unenrolled students are welcome to join the group whenever they’d like. Please contact Lydia Moland for details ([email protected]).
