Research Labs
Students and faculty work together in the research labs to explore the frontiers of psychological knowledge. Students can participate as volunteers, work as paid research assistants, or arrange for independent study credit. To participate as a research assistant or to inquire about an independent study, please contact the lab director. To be a participant, please see Research Participation below.

Research Participation
Students are encouraged to participate in research being conducted in the Psychology department. To sign up for experiments, go to Colby’s Research Participation site (managed by Sona Systems) to see the studies that are available for course credit and for payment. If you do not already have an account, click the Request Account link to create one automatically using your Colby email address. Please note that your course instructor may have had an account created for you, in which case you will need to click the Forgot Password link to have your password emailed to you.
